The Golden Family

I have been unable to visit my family in Malaysia for the past two years due to COVID travel restrictions and quarantine requirements. While I am thankful for the voice and video apps that have allowed me to stay in touch, it is not the same as being physically present. I recently came across a photograph taken the last time we were all together, and it inspired me to create the painting “Golden Family”.
